If your prayer life is weak, your non praying life is weak even more so…

I have a few friends who seem to be dealing with many issues and trials of late. I myself have a number of moving targets that draw on me daily, without reprieve it feels like. I also know that God wants us to focus on, and stay focused on the good things He has for us. Which are far greater than the things we can see around us.

Unfortunately, too many people give up when they face tough times. They stop expecting anything good to happen… But the truth is, hardships and trials are really opportunities for us to go higher in everyday challenges and life in general. Whatever struggles you’re going through right now, no matter how large or small… they are subject to change, and will change. Let’s be honest: we’re all perhaps pretty lousy at praying, at least in the fullest sense of the term. I don’t mean this as an indictment of some rich spirituality that is in us. Our prayer lives are just so far from what they could be.

God is working behind the scenes on our behalf. Your health may not look very good today, but it’s subject to change. You may be out of work today, or not in the job you want, but that’s subject to change. Your finances may look dismal today, but that’s subject to change! You may be struggling in your relationships or marriage, but that’s all subject to change too!

No matter what your circumstances might be… you can experience real positive change when you look to God. Stay in faith and believe in his plans for you. You guys have all heard me say that worry is just worship to the wrong master. It is you basically telling God, that you don’t trust him enough to work out the situations your going through. And even though you say you believe in God… Your stressing out and worrying over shit, just confirms that you don’t just trust that God can and / or will solve your problems.

That is no good at all! Stop worrying, stop stressing and have FAITH! To not, is just you being weak! If you are trying to be in control of your life. God will rest and let you. When you can be still, stop trying to be in control, come to the end of yourself and get past your own ass and just rest. That’s when he will work his will in your life, so allow God to be God and do what you cannot. My thoughts about it anyway. I have tagged a couple of people in this blog. I wrote this for everyone that needs some encouragement though. God bless…
