If you are mixed, you are NOT “light skinned” black. Black history month ended for you and I on the 14th at 6pm.
Any 100% proud black, with African heritage will be more than happy to let you know that you weren’t in fields pickin with them way back when. And you can best believe that would also be signed and sealed by their ancestors.
No matter what you have been led to believe by ignorant parents, or disgruntled black or white uneducated racist, you are your own race, you nor I get to take advantage of reparations, benefits, a month… that are well deserved by our black friends, family, co-workers. Any more than you do from our white friends, family or co-workers. And you may get an ass whippin from a smart one, whom gets offended by you trying.
No white woman has ever given birth to a black child, just as no black woman has ever given birth to a white child. Ask them, they will tell you how impossible that is and they would also 100% know before anyone else would. What the race is that their child dropped out of.
Be proud, own your own race (Mulatto) and realize that we will be the majority race, not to far from now. Start living like it.
