Someone correct me please… I must be sadly misinformed. I had a conversation just now, with what must be the most unintelligent person in Kentucky and perhaps this region. I am sure he is not the most unintelligent person in the Southern states… I have unfortunately met worse, the poor bastards… Anyway. He went to a tirade about religion vs. Christianity. As most of us intelligent folks know. There is no place in Christianity for religion. I am not religious, and not a church zealot or bible thumper. This guy had more views on; Muslims, blacks, Mexicans, women, even other whites and just about everything and everyone under the sun…
He proclaims to be of the Baptist faith and also states he is a Christian. So maybe I am missing something and I need correction, but when Jesus sat at the last supper. 33 years from last night (his time 2000 years ago). Wasn’t his one new commandment to us all, to “Love one another as he has loved us”?
I am pretty sure that is under the new covenant with Man. That being the case; My response to all of his blabbering, was that you are in fact NOT a Christian and have NOT been saved if you have a bias, negative capacity, or a racist, elitist or sociopathic mind and heart against another Human. Regardless of what their race, religion, spiritual, physical, social, sexual or whatever other status they prescribe to. I mean, how can he claim Christian, being saved, even having common sense.
By living with himself that way? Jesus said “Judge and be judged”. And the way you judge another is the exact way that you will be judged. In reality it only makes sense that if God; OUR father can accept all of his children. Who are any of us not too? Jesus said that his Fathers house has many mansions and he will prepare a place for us. I am sure he didn’t mean just selected Humans and the rest, he just made for no reason, lol. I think some people, who just can’t get past themselves or the facts of life here on earth. Or going to exist somewhere pretty undesirable when they take their last breath here. So now friends; the smart ones… whose attention span has allowed them to read my assertion here.
